Ancient Greek schools were really small, often with only 1 teacher and 10 to 20 boys. It's not free to enter a school so only rich family can sen their kids to school and get them educated. Boys were usually educated to be citizens and take part in the public and girls were more likely to stay home and get educated about housekeeping and how to look after their family.
